It integration lesson for Septemper, 2022

 John Dewey has rightly pointed out that, If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them tomorrow. My lesson was truly focused according to the perception of John Dewey as I have integrated use of the power point presentation with full of animation on 20th September, 2022.

      As we are having only one projector, I took my children to staff room to carry out my lesson and I began my lesson by presenting welcome note from the power point presentation and then introduced the lesson topic on simple machines. I explained what a simple machine to the class and then demonstrated some examples of simple machines through the power point presentation.



    When I presented the simple machines with full of gif animation, I could see that my children were fully energized to learn and explore themselves about the lesson topic. They could critically analysis the importance of simple machines and its purposes with the help of my presentation through power point slides.


   

The content delivery of my lesson saw a successful story as my children were fully engrossed in the lesson and carried out a successful activity which was especially designed to enhance the understanding capacity on the topic. As a follow up activity, I let my children to explore some more examples of simple machines from the internet.




    However, it took more time as the children in groups shared only one broad band connection from the office. Because we have only one broad band line for principal in our school. So I requested the principal to allow my children to use it for 20 minutes to explore some more examples of simple machines which the people use around the world.

    I totally agree with whatever you have written la. I also agree that students tend to concentrate and participate actively when they are taught with interesting ppt with gif animations. Cheers ✌️

    It happened to me as well and I understand that our lesson is not able to finish on time when we are using ppt with graphics. Must be because we are not used to it. It might get better gradually.

Some of the tools present in a powerpoint are font name which is located at the top left corner of the toolbar.It's function is to help user choose between different styles of writing such as Microsoft Himalaya and Ariel.  Another example of such tools is bold. It is also located at the top left corner below font name. It helps user to make the normal words into bold letters so as to let the user or the readers to mark the respected words. Learning Through Practical

    Confucius gladly stated " I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand." I believe this statement of his is very true and applies to the children of this generation. With modernization, the children born in this era are all digital dependent. They learn everything by surfing through the net on their phones. As per the research servey conducted by the experts, it is found that children learn more through practicals than through theory classes. Just as how the word "practical" sounds, students can put the words that their mentor stated to practice.
