Tools are the features of powerpoint through which user can provide command to the platform and with the help of which the user communicates with the software.And functions are the details which are provided based regarding the tools of the powerpoint.  There are many tools an functions of a ppwerpoint which helps user have  better understanding to the software. It  is located at the top of the page. Some of the tools present in a powerpoint are font name which is located at the top left corner of the toolbar.It's function is to help user choose between different styles of writing such as Microsoft Himalaya and Ariel.  Another example of such tools is bold. It is also located at the top left corner below font name. It helps user to make the normal words into bold letters so as to let the user or the readers to mark the respected words. Some of the users even use such tools to accentuate the topics
